Flight Delays and Cancellations Expected On Saturday & Sunday
Due to the impending winter storm this weekend, the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA) and Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) expect the announcement of flight delays and cancellations.
The Airport Authority encourages passengers to continue checking with their airline before departing for ABE.
Below is the current information available:
United Airlines flights to Chicago O’Hare (ORD) are canceled till Sunday morning. *An update on Sunday’s flights will be posted tomorrow.
United Airlines will stop bus service to Newark Airport (EWR) from Saturday at noon tomorrow until Sunday at noon. *An update for Sunday’s buses will be provided tomorrow afternoon.
American Airlines have cancelled the following flights on Saturday:
Departures: 5321 to Charlotte
Arrivals: 5231 from Charlotte; 5553 from Charlotte; 4966 from Philadelphia
American Airlines have cancelled the following flights on Sunday:
Departures: 4875 to Philadelphia; 5105 to Charlotte; and 5314 to Charlotte
Arrivals: 5314 from Charlotte
Delta has cancelled the following flight for Saturday night:
Arrival: 4322 from Detroit
Delta has cancelled the following flight for Sunday morning:
Departure: 4321 to Detroit
TransBridge Bus Service:
Due to the State of Emergency declared by Governor Tom Wolf which bans all commercial vehicles from traveling on interstates, the final Trans-Bridge bus will depart ABE on Saturday at 7:25 a.m.
The bus service ticket counter at ABE will open on Sunday at approximately 12:00 p.m., with the first scheduled departure for 12:40 p.m.
