Navigators Volunteer Program

Our Navigator Volunteers offer vital community service by promoting a positive community image and providing information and assistance to passengers, visitors and members of the general public at Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE). Volunteers are stationed throughout the Main Terminal and Concourse buildings and can be identified by their light blue shirts and volunteer badges.

Duties

  • Meet and greet passengers and visitors
  • Help passengers and visitors by directing them to the appropriate personnel
  • Answer questions and provide information about the Lehigh Valley
  • Assist travelers with special needs

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older and provide photo ID
  • Work and participate in training programs and meetings, relevant to the volunteer program
  • Provide own transportation to/from airport
  • Be reliable and prompt
  • When unable to fulfill duties, volunteer will notify the coordinator as early as possible
  • Be friendly and courteous, and display a professional attitude and appearance while on duty and in uniform
  • Strictly adhere to security regulations and abide by policies of the Authority
  • Must successfully complete interview and training to receive a Volunteer Program Badge
