Allentown, PA – On Sunday, September 11, 2016, passengers traveling through Lehigh Valley International Airport can commemorate the 15th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 by displaying an American Flag.

American Flags will be available at the Information Desk on the lower level in the Main Terminal (near baggage claim) and by the departure gates in Wiley Terminal.

A moment of silence is scheduled for 8:46 a.m. inside both terminals to symbolize when the first plane hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

“It’s hard to believe that 15 years has passed, and we should never forget the victims and honor the heroes from that tragic day in American history,” said Charles Everett, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.
