4-foot wide and 135 pound display is completely made of PEEPS® candy

(Hanover Township, PA) – Have you ever seen an entire world of PEEPS®? Passengers won’t have to search very far, as its right in your neighborhood airport.

On Thursday, April 12th, Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) unveiled an entire globe in the Wilfred M. “Wiley” Post Departure Concourse of the delicious candy made by Just Born Quality Confections (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania).

Designed and constructed by Jeff and Denise Chenoweth of Royal Palms Travel (Maryland), the exhibit is 4-feet in diameter, weighs approximately 135 pounds and took nearly 70 hours to complete.

“We couldn’t have crossed the finish line on this project without a lot of help from family and friends gluing on PEEPS® and transporting this massive structure,” said Denise Chenoweth, Owner, Royal Palms Travel.

The Carroll County Arts Center (Maryland) organizes “The PEEP Show” every year which attracts thousands of visitors and more than 150 PEEPS® themed sculptures, dioramas, graphic arts, oversized characters and mosaics inspired by PEEPS®.!
