Before you takeoff on a fun vacation and never look back… make sure you say hello to our newest passenger, but he is not a tasty snack!

On Friday, April 26th, Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) and Just Born Quality Confections of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania will unveil a nearly 7-foot display of the infamous “Cat in the Hat” – which is constructed with 928 PEEPS®.

“We are excited to welcome this unique exhibit that gives our passengers a taste of the Lehigh Valley while also promoting the importance of reading books through a legendary character,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority. “If you’re traveling through ABE, it’s certainly a sight you’ll want to see”.

Designed and completed by Lia Finch and M., the exhibit finished in 3rd place during the Carroll County Arts Council’s PEEPShow (Westminster, Maryland).

“Our unique partnership with ABE allows us to recognize these talented artists while giving passengers something sweet to interact with as they wait for their flight,“ said Meg Dowd, Corporate Affairs Specialist, Just Born Quality Confections.

The “Cat in the Hat” exhibit will be located in the Wilfred M. “Wiley” Post Departure Concourse.
