Passenger Traffic Surge in November

December 20th, 2017 |

Double-digit percentage increase from previous year

Finishing the year with a surge, Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) announced another significant increase in passenger traffic from the previous November.

Last month, over 60,000 passengers traveled through ABE – a 15 percent increase from November 2016.

Month             Passengers                  Percentage increase               Month             Passengers

Nov. ’17              60,008                                 15.4%                          Nov. ’16              51,971

“The last two months have been instrumental in helping the Airport rebound from a decrease in passenger traffic caused by numerous severe weather flight cancellations in the southeastern U.S. during the month of September,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Interim Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA).

Currently, ABE has provided the highest quality of customer service for 636,328 passengers in 2017.

“We continue to deliver the highest level of customer service which remains a critical component of having more people choose ABE when making travel plans,” said Stoudt.
