New Concession Options Available at LVIA

ALLENTOWN, PA – Beginning May 27, passengers will have two new food and beverage options when traveling through LVIA.

First Class Concessions has completed renovations in the Wiley Departure Building.  Included in these renovations, is the addition of both PA Pub and Java Joint.

Java Joint is an Allentown-based, branded specialty coffee concept.  With such offerings as fresh espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, specialty drinks, cold-brewed beverages and teas, Java Joint will be a great addition for travelers looking for a little pick-me-up.  A “lite” menu of low calorie drinks will be offered, as well as fresh baked pastries such as donuts, sticky buns and muffins that are delivered daily from the Bakery Nook in Coplay and Emmaus Bakery in Emmaus.   Java Joint will also offer a quick service grab-and-go concept.  A mouth-watering selection of freshly-made hot and cold hoagies, salads, deli salads and breakfast menu will be available “on the fly” to those in a hurry.

The PA Pub will be reminiscent of the Lehigh Valley with German aesthetic and fare.  For those with a little more down time, the PA Pub will offer wait service and locally-inspired dishes meant to entice and satisfy.  Guests looking for a more social experience can sit at the pub-style bar while enjoying a meal and watching the news or a sports game on one of the many televisions. Some local craft beers will be produced by the Weyerbacher family brewery.  First Class will strive to offer “something for everyone” at this location, with a menu featuring breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between.  Examples of some items may include: Pierogies, Bavarian Soft Pretzels with a cheese dip, Bessemers Bratwurt, Nana’s Chicken Stew and Noodles, Chop Chop Salad, Apple Butter BBQ Chicken and French Toast.  Some other lite alternatives will also be available.

These welcomed additions to LVIA will complement the Lehigh Valley Café, 24/7 Refreshments and the Spirit of Lehigh Gift Shop.   The Spirit of Lehigh is a brand new, updated gift shop that features many traveler favorites.  In addition, Spirit of Lehigh also offers a regional section offering gifts and snacks from a handful of area businesses.  “It’s a guiding principle of our business plan to partner with and become as much a part of the local community as possible.  As such, we are also very pleased to represent and support the area’s economy by featuring popular locally based brands such as  Java Joint, local crafted beers, Peeps, Mike’s & Ike’s and Crayola, to name a few.
