Master Plan Update Workshop

Public invited to learn more about the process on Thursday, April 20
Allentown, PA – Can you envision Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) in 2040?
Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA) has started the process of creating a “Master Plan Update” which outlines a 25-year development plan and program that maintains a safe, efficient, financially sound and sustainable airport facility.
As part of this endeavor, the Airport Authority is hosting a Public Workshop on April 20, 2017, inviting the community to learn more about the Master Plan process while providing the following preliminary details through several exhibits: information from the regional context, inventory of facilities and preliminary aircraft forecast information. LNAA staff and consultants participating in the project encourage the public to leave comments regarding the project for review. This event will be an open house format.

Last updated in 2004, the goal of this Master Plan includes providing the guidance to satisfy demand in a financially feasible and responsible manner, while at the same time addressing the aviation, environmental, and socioeconomic issues of the community and region as they relate to Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE).
