LVIA EXPERIENCES LARGEST TRAFFIC INCREASE SINCE 2011

March 31, 2015

ALLENTOWN, PA – The Lehigh Valley International Airport saw a 17% rise in traffic in February, it’s largest increase since February of 2011.

In addition, traffic has been up for the last six months, consecutively.

The rise in passenger traffic is encouraging to airport officials, who have been working to create a better travel experience for those utilizing LVIA.  “Improving the overall experience for our passengers has become a key area of emphasis.  Our mission is to exceed expectations in convenience, customer service and amenities”, said Charles Everett, Executive Director. “People are responding very well to the changes we have made in these areas.  It is exciting to see hard work pay off”.

Officials are optimistic that this trend will continue throughout the busy travel months ahead. “We encourage the public to consider LVIA when beginning to research travel options.  Airline reservations can be made directly via our website: FLYLVIA.COM”.
