Pop-up farm stand debuts at Lehigh Valley International Airport on September 28th

(Hanover Township, PA) – It’s up, up and away….for Subarashii Kudamono!

On Thursday, September 28th, a pop-up farm stand makes its debut at Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA), giving passengers and the Lehigh Valley community a chance to taste and purchase “delicious” Asian Pears from local grower, Subarashii Kudamono.

You can stop by the farm stand located on the 2nd Level of the Main Terminal from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  The public will receive “free” validated 50-minute parking with your purchase from Subarashii Kudamono during the first hour of the farm stand.

“With so many traveling through LVIA, a farm stand at the airport offers the perfect venue for people to experience this delicious fruit on the go and grown right here in the Lehigh Valley,” said Holly Harter, Marketing Director, Subarashii Kudamono.

Fall flavors from Subarashii often include: butterscotch, citrus, cashew, starfruit, kiwi, melon, honey and more. Subarashii grab ‘n go “Pair of Pears”, charming gift boxes full of Asian Pears, and many other items produced by Subarashii will be available.

“The Airport Authority believes in supporting local businesses, and the pop-up farm stand brings a unique element to achieving our mission of delivering the highest level of customer service,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Interim Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.
