“Support from the community combined with travelers that experience a comfortable and hassle free experience at LVIA provides the strongest case to attract additional air service,” said Charles Everett, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority. Since the beginning of 2016, LVIA has welcomed 469,834 passengers. Last year, LVIA provided the highest quality of customer service for 673,505 passengers – a ten percent increase from 2014.

The Airport Authority has also seen a growth in 2016 within the cargo operation at LVIA. An industry that is known for seasonal fluctuations, the amount of cargo arriving and departing the Lehigh Valley has been trending upward over the past year.
