“Winter weather always keeps us on our toes, and even with some flight cancellations due to mother nature ABE posted a strong start to the travel year,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA).

By the numbers, American reported a total passenger increase of 20.9%, followed by Delta up 5.4%. Allegiant and United both posted minimal declines in traffic.

“Nearly reaching 800,000 passengers last year, ABE is excited about the possibilities for 2019 as three additional routes have been added (Chicago – via American; Nashville and Savannah / Hilton Head via Allegiant) ” which are important ingredients to sustained growth while we also remain committed to providing the highest standard of customer service,” said Stoudt.
