January 8th, 2018 |

Additional flights to leisure destinations from Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE)

Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) is ringing in the New Year by announcing the arrival of additional flights via Allegiant at Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE).

“We have an outstanding partnership with Allegiant, and increasing flights to their very popular leisure destinations allows travelers more opportunities to choose the convenience of using ABE,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Interim Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.

From the Lehigh Valley, Allegiant provides service to Orlando/Sanford (SFB), Tampa / St. Petersburg (PIE), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Punta Gorda (PGD) and Myrtle Beach (MYR).

Now through May 2018, there will be approximately (50) additional departures to those destinations versus the same time period last year.

“We know that Lehigh Valley travelers love escaping the winter weather or getting away for spring break with our ultra-low fares to vacation hot spots,” said Kristen Schilling-Gonzales, Allegiant director of planning. “We’re happy to provide even more opportunities to do so in 2018 with our convenient, nonstop service from ABE.”

Beyond providing quality air service to the region, ABE and Allegiant have demonstrated a strong commitment to the community which includes their annual “Wings for All” event – in coordination with The ARC of Lehigh and Northampton Counties.
