“It’s certainly a significant achievement, especially since October 2017 saw an extremely high volume of passengers choose ABE, and we’ve surpassed that number by over three percent which is a positive trend for our airlines,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA).

By the numbers, United reported a total passenger increase of 11.2%, followed by Delta up 6.7%, Allegiant jumped 3.4%, and American posted a minimal decline of 1.8%.

“From an air service perspective, ABE enters the final quarter of 2018 with a lot of momentum as all of our airlines have contributed to a year-to-date 14.9 % passenger increase over last year, with a a busy holiday travel season still ahead,” said Stoudt.
