74,038 passengers traveled through ABE
(Hanover Township, PA) – Passenger traffic at Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) had a strong takeoff to begin the new year.
In January, 74,038 passengers used ABE – an increase of 8.8% vs. January 2024.
“There’s been no shortage of winter weather and cold temperatures which certainly can affect air travel. Fortunately, our winter operations team continues to be up to the challenge of keeping the Airport safe and passengers flying from ABE,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA).

By the numbers, United Airlines jumped 32%, American Airlines moved up 9.1%, Allegiant Air increased 6.7%, and Delta Airlines climbed 2.6% from the previous January.
It’s Homemade!
Zekraft – Curators of Taste started serving ABE passengers in January.
Their menu of homemade items include hot and iced coffee, espressos, lattes, teas, smoothies, sandwiches, snacks, and pastries.
Hours of operation are (7) days a week from 4:00 a.m. until after the last arriving flight daily.
Ready for Real ID?
Starting May 7, 2025, all US travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights.
