Lehigh Valley Aviation Services FBO

Hangar 7, currently Lehigh Valley Aviation Services, was built in 1958 and was home to Bethlehem Steel’s aviation department.  In 1985, Bethlehem Steel eliminated their flight department in a money saving move for the already struggling company.  In 2004, the Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority took over operations of the FBO. Lehigh Valley Aviation Services is a member of the Air Elite Network and is a full- service FBO. Amenities include a recently renovated passenger terminal and kitchen, a pilot’s lounge, flight planning room, ten-seat conference room, concierge services, a crew car, and a courtesy shuttle.  Many more amenities are available at Lehigh Valley Aviation Services, come visit us and see all we have to offer!

Kimberly Rawhouser

General Manager of the FBO (Fixed-Based Operations) for Lehigh Valley Aviation Services, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her position.  Having worked for the airport in both the service and administrative capacities for over ten years, Kimberly has consistently been recognized for her commitment to customer satisfaction, her ability to build positive relationships among staff members and her continued interest in maintaining effective communication with the Board of Directors and key stakeholders. Mrs. Rawhouser is directly responsible for the entirety of daily operations within the FBO, including financial management, analysis of local market competitors, fuel and service pricing and continued business and marketing development.  In her role as General Manager, Kimberly strives to identify strategic opportunities that align with organizational goals and to ensure the overall success of Lehigh Valley Aviation Services.

Adam Cramsey

Operations Manager of Lehigh Valley Aviation Services, brings over ten years of aviation experience to the Lehigh Valley International Airport. Having worked in managerial and supervisory positions prior, Adam has built a strong foundation for the role is which he currently serves. Mr. Cramsey has extensive experience in all aspects of training, safety, and quality assurance. This is seen through his understanding of the ATA 103, NFPA 407, and all FAA regulations. Adam is responsible for maintaining a safe and reputable operation for pilots, crew members, and passengers alike. Mr. Cramsey is recognized for his ability to effectively work with tenants, co-workers, and auditors. His responsibilities include maintaining and monitoring all fuel and equipment that is used in the daily flight-line operations. In addition to providing the highest quality of standards among his employees, Adam also collaborates in the budgetary process of the FBO in order to successfully balance the requirements and standards of the department with the utmost concern for the overall growth and expansion of the airport.

Dawn Smith

Manager of Safety and Compliance, brings over 30 years of aviation and quality assurance experience to Lehigh Valley Aviation Services. Having worked as a Station Audit Standards Specialist and Quality Control Representative for six years with United Airlines, Dawn has the background knowledge needed to maintain a safe and effective operation. Safety is one of Lehigh Valley Aviation Services core functions. Ms.Smith is dedicated to enhancing, maintaining, and implementing the highest level of safety amongst her team members and ensuring all staff is highly trained to meet industry standards. Dawn’s extensive knowledge of aviation is seen through her understanding of the FAA’s rules and regulations, ATA 103, and NFPA 407 requirements. Through her years of experience, Ms.Smith seamlessly continues to train all team members to the highest standards of safety.

Marjorie Rappa

Customer Service Manager of Lehigh Valley Aviation Services, brings over ten years of aviation experience to her current position. Marjorie obtained her private pilot’s license in 2003 and graduated from Embry-Riddle in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical studies. Mrs. Rappa’s extensive knowledge of aviation provides her with the fundamentals needed to ensure Lehigh Valley Aviation Services exceeds guests’ expectations when visiting our facility. Marjorie works directly with the customer service staff to guarantee the highest level of service is provided to both our internal and external customers. Mrs. Rappa continuously works on developing and improving the current customer service standards at Lehigh Valley Aviation Services and ensures all employees adhere to those standards.
