Airport tours are offered at Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE). Federal regulations restrict access past airport security checkpoints to ABE employees and ticketed passengers. Groups taking a guided tour will have access as well.
ABE provides free guided tours to schools, scout groups or other organized groups wanting to explore the airport facility. Since the airport is constantly changing, we cannot predict exactly what you will see on a tour, however, areas generally included are Upper Level Ticket Area, Passenger Screening, Wilfred M. “Wiley” Post Jr. Concourse and Lower Level Baggage Claim. Due to security and operational reasons, we regret that tour groups cannot access areas operated by airport tenants/organizations other than the Airport Authority.
Tours are offered by appointment between 9AM – 4PM, Monday through Friday. The tours are specific to school age children (5 years and older) with a maximum of 25 people and can be customized to different age groups. School age groups are requested to supply one chaperone for every five children attending the tour.
If you are interested in scheduling a tour, please submit your request below.
*Anyone 18 years and older will need to provide a valid government issued ID at the security checkpoint in order to participate in the tour (i.e. driver’s license or passport).
Thank you for your interest in the Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE)!
